Homemade Granola & Acai! A bright and delicious bowl to awaken your tastebuds!
Granola Ingredients
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 cup of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
- 1/2 cup of sunflower kernels
- 1/2 cup of flaked almonds
- 1/4 cup white quinoa (rinsed & drained)
- 1tbs black chia seeds
- 1tbs sesame seeds
- 1tbs honey
- 1tsp cinnamon
Granola Method
- Preheat oven to 180
- Line baking tray with baking paper
- Toss all ingredients in a bowl
- Spoon mixture into a thin layer on baking tray
- Bake for 15 mins (or until lightly toasted)
- Set aside to cool
Acai Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 400mls coconut water
- 200gms Acai (pre frozen)
Acai Method
- Blend acai, coconut water and banana
- Pour into bowl
- Add some fresh banana and your homemade granola
NB: You’ll have plenty of leftover granola topping from this recipe. Store in an airtight container for up to 2weeks. Try eating it as a snack!
